Understand your inner and outer voice
In my voice training sessions, I experience time and again how difficult it can be to raise your own voice. Just recently, a client said: ‘I don't know how to open my mouth’. This statement touched me because it describes how difficult it is to express yourself, show your feelings or stand up for yourself or others. Understanding our voice, both internally and externally, and learning how to use it is the key to a self-confident, authentic appearance.

Why voice training for women?
Our voice is one of the most effective tools for expressing ourselves and claiming space for ourselves. But women often face particular challenges when it comes to being heard in male-dominated environments. My training programme ‘Empower Your Voice - Voice and Presence Training for Women’ is designed to strengthen and connect both the ‘inner’ voice, which represents our needs, opinions and boundaries, and the ‘outer’ voice, which communicates through tone, breathing and sound.

What can you expect during training?


Developing your inner self-image
Your inner voice encompasses your values, needs and personal convictions. The training helps you to recognise and reflect on this inner voice so that you can express yourself clearly and authentically.

Setting and recognising boundaries
Raising your own voice also means setting boundaries and taking your own needs seriously. I will show you how to make your inner voice heard and how to be more self-confident.

At the same time, we will understand the contexts and systems in which you operate. It is often courageous and clever to know when and how to utilise your potential and not let it fizzle out!

Vocal technique for external expression
With exercises for breath control, resonance and voice modulation, you will be given concrete techniques for speaking clearly and with presence even in difficult situations. Understanding your communication patterns and communication tricks will help you to empower yourself!

Exercises and reflection for your voice
The training is practice-orientated and includes exercises to help you familiarise yourself with your voice and find out how to use it confidently. Here is a first exercise that you can try out:

Describe voice(s)

Take a few minutes and find three words to describe your voice. Then think about what types of voices you like and why. This exercise creates awareness of your voice and its potential. The realisations are the first step in building a connection to your unique vocal identity.
